Who we are
The Western New York Chapter is one of the regional chapters of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society. The Chapter provides a focal point in the western New York area for people who are interested in or have a need for human factors and ergonomics research and technology. Our group serves as a forum for the exchange of multidisciplinary ideas and knowledge about people and their environments in the areas of both cognitive ergonomics and physical ergonomics.
We help our members.
- Form and maintain associations with colleagues in human factors and supporting disciplines in western New York.
- Generate opportunities to educate members about human factors and ergonomics topics, methods and solutions.
- Influence and support educational goal for careers and contributions in human factors and ergonomics.
- Promote public awareness about human factors and ergonomics and their contributions, and promote the image of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society.
